This 3-storey house has a modern tropical concept, with natural materials as the facade, but still has a modern characteristic which is the vocal point on the front balcony, and the main entrance area to the foyer on the 2nd floor

the design challenge of this building is the various functions that are private and public, so the consequence is to separate circulation for visitors from businesses and cafes, so that the privacy of the house on the 2nd floor is maintained.

After the site analysis and spatial program have been decided, we try several variations of the building transformation that are adapted from the zone and function concept. there are 2 building masses with different functions with different facing directions, so that the transformation is focused on the shape relationship of the two masses and adjustments to the shape of the site. there are 4 basic shapes of building type A, and 7 basic shapes of building type B, so there are 28 possible variations of building shape transformations.

Consideration of the shape of the building is obtained from the ease of circulation and access, and the influence of the shape on the surroundings.
